MARIE JONES

Marie feels honoured to have been invited to return to directing over the past year, including this wonderful opportunity to learn within the fellowship of HRSC. Last spring, she had a thrilling experience directing Jean Parker's The Room for the 2010 incarnation of HRSC's The Sonnet Show. Then in late 2010, she was the Associate Director for Unity (1918) at Ryerson Theatre School, assisting immensely talented director Stewart Arnott . Prior to completing conservatory theatre studies at George Brown in 2007, she directed My Fourth Divorce (Burien Live Theatre, WA), Burnt Remains (2002 Edmonton Fringe), Rockmore High (Celebrations Dinner Theatre, Edmonton) and Vermont Christian Television Network Presents: X-Treme Jesus (NextFest, Edmonton). Marie also keeps busy as an actor, sings with Toronto's That Choir, and is collaborating on a new play based on Kafka's Letters to Felice.
