NEIL SILCOX

Neil is very excited to be making his debut performance with Humber River Shakespeare. Neil is a graduate of the Theatre and Drama Studies program, a joint program with U of T and Shcridan college, and since graduation he has been acting and directing on stages all over Toronto. Most notably he has appeared as Lawrence in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Buckingham in Richard III, Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Edgar in King Lear, the Protean in A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum (Hart House Theatre), Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Oliver in As You Like It (Canopy Theatre), Herr Schultz in Cabaret (U.C. Follies), Chad in Pieces (Smashing Bat Theatre), Berowne in Love's Labours Lost and Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice (Theatre Erindale).

His directing credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, RENT and MWAHAHAHAHA! (Toronto Youth Theatre), Urinetown (U.C. Follies),Romeo and Juliet (OKTC) and Chekhov by the Sea (Erindale Fringe). Neil would like to thank his Mom and Dad for all their support and Sophia for helping him so much.
