The Humber River Shakespeare Company presents

the Dickens holiday classic, A Christmas Carol

This December, gather with friends and family as five actors bring to life the timeless tale of greed, ghosts, salvation, and hope.

This popular production has been a sold-out event in its original venue, Montgomery's Inn, and the company looks forward to a newly expanded tour this December.

With Victorian costumes designed by multiple Dora award nominee, Nina Okens, and an antique trunk of story-telling treasures, the actors bring you from Scrooge’s cold bedroom, to Fezziwig’s joyful party, the Cratchit’s meager table, and the brightness of a Christmas morning fresh with snow.

Now entering its fifth season, the company offers professional and accessible theatre year-round to communities in the Humber Watershed and beyond – from touring Shakespeare-in-the-Park in the summer, to innovative and original Canadian works in unique spaces in the fall, and A Christmas Carol in the winter.

Whether by the fire in a Victorian era hotel at Montgomery’s Inn, at a lovingly restored church in Caledon, or in the beautifully conceived Alton Mill, this charming one hour performance will warm the hearts of Tiny Tims and Scrooges alike.
